This is Me

Hi guys
Thought it was about time I introduced myself and told you a little bit about myself and how I am connected to Remember When.
My name is Debi Shaw, I'm turning the big 40 this year, I am married to a wonderful guy called Brad who supports (but doesn't totally understand) me and my scrapbooking addiction. And I am the proud and often frazzled mother of three boys, Daniel - 14yrs, Nathan - 13yrs and Matthew - 10yrs. They certainly keep me on my toes.
I was a stamper and card maker for about 10 years before I crossed to the "dark side" about 5 or so years ago. The stamps have gone (except for the ones I can use on my scrapbook pages) and I am now a SCRAPBOOKER and proud of it. I have taught at a variety of scrapbook stores in Brisbane and love encouraging people as they start their "scrapbooking lives".
I love scrapbooking - it has so many meanings for so many people but it me it is a wonderful record of my family and the life we enjoy; it is a creative outlet that lets me express myself in colours and design; and it is also very theraputic. It is also a reminder of how lucky I am to have such a great family to scrapbook, oh and love (just kidding). I love them first and then I scrapbook them.
I met Kathy from Remember When at a craft show in Brisbane last year and it was the start of a beautiful relationship (go on wipe those tears). I ended up working for Kathy at the Gold Coast show and from there I have become one of her "show girls" (this is one of the nicer things I've been called, I must say). I now work at the craft shows that are in Brissie and Sydney for Remember When and Kathy and it is so exciting as Bazzill is my absolute fav scrapbooking product. I just LOVE Bazzill so this is the perfect job for me. And its great working with Kathy as she is just as passionate about Bazzill as I am - and one of the perks is that we got to meet "Mr and Mrs Bazzill", alias Doug and Marti Jones. That was a bit of a thrill.
I also design projects for the craft shows and Remember When and you will be seeing some of these on the site soon. We have been busy getting projects together for 2007. Hope you'll like them.
Well that's me in a nutshell. I'm excited about where where Kathy and Rmember When are taking scrapbooking and am pleased to be a part of it.

Until next time
Happy Scrappin'
Debi
